These tools and materials are the ones I use the most in creating watercolours. I didn’t include the paper, the water or the cloth because those are in constant rotation. The following materials have been with me for a long time, in some cases for over 15 years like my first Winsor & Newton water colour box -which I keep re-filling.

This is the first water colour box I ever bought. It was 1994 and I was in Architecture school.
Travel water-colour set. I use it at the studio as well.
Favorite mixing tray
Water colour mess. Never wash it. It will create the most unexpected and beautiful colours.
Traditional mixing tray.
Brushes. You can tell which one I use the most.
The state of the mixing tray after painting
Water colour pigments are so vivid. Yellows are my favorite.
